Milpitas, California – March 31, 2007 – NanoAmp Solutions, Inc. today announced completion of its acquisition of IRF Semiconductor, Inc. Focusing on developing CMOS based analog and mixed-signal wireless communication SoC, IRF Semiconductor employs approximately 8 people in Sunnyvale, California.
With proprietary and patent pending revolutionary technologies, IRF Semiconductor has developed high performance, low power, and low cost Configurable RF Platform by utilizing commercially available CMOS processes. The flexibilities in architecture and implementation allow the CMOS Configurable RF Platform to be programmable on the fly for accommodating multiple standards and multiple frequency bands in a single chip.
The revolutionary innovations from IRF Semiconductor are capable of integrating the baseband SoC with the RFIC into a monolithic device for a single chip cellular phone.
